Hi, my name is Evie and I am a student at the university of Manchester. I am studying neuroscience and psychology, which I really enjoy. I heard about Time from a friend and thought that it sounded like a fun and exciting job, while most importantly providing support to young people with autism as well as their families. I love being out and about and finding new things to do around Manchester, whether that be museums, swimming or just a walk in the park!

Hi! My name is Faye and I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Manchester. I joined Time Specialist Support in the summer of 2023 and have met so many wonderful support workers and service users! The role as a Support Worker has given me such rich insight into the lives of autistic people and I believe the experience will help me with my endeavour to enter the field of Clinical Psychology in the future. In my free time, I enjoy going out and spending time with my friends and family, going to the gym, and going on nature walks and hikes!

I’ve been working for Time since March 2018. I have experience working as a Teaching Assistant with students of all ages. And since late 2016, I have mostly been a Learning Support Assistant for special needs learners. I’m a very creative person and love a challenge! In my free time, I like to sew, crochet, make jewellery, roller-skate, spend time with friends and family, and learn new things. I love my work; the people I work with, and support, they always brighten up my day!

Hi, I am Gabriel and I’m currently studying International Business M.Sc at the University of Salford, Manchester and I believe working with TSS will give me the opportunity to understand and support people living with autism as I enjoy helping people live their best lives! I am a second-year English Literature student at the University of Manchester and have worked in a mental health care home for over 3 years as a support worker. I first applied to work for Time as I love the rewarding nature of care work and the great relationships that I can form with service users. I love working with children and have babysat for many years and volunteered at my local primary school so thought this role was ideal! I am a really keen athlete, I compete in running races and gymnastics events and am also an avid film watcher, reader, and violin player.

Hi my name is Glory and I am going into my fourth year studying dentistry at the University of Manchester. I have been working with Time since December 2023 and have really enjoyed the sessions and experiences gained. I really appreciate this opportunity where I am able to support all the lovely users and expose myself to different situations as I am interested in going into paediatric dentistry in the future so this has been the perfect opportunity to prepare myself. In my spare time, I enjoy keeping active by doing pilates and playing tennis and I also love trying out new coffee shops and bakeries too!”

Hi, I’m Gordon, I am a third-year physics student at the University of Manchester. I was previously an assistant teacher at a music school where my passion for working with young people grew. One of my friends recommended Time to me thinking it would be the perfect job for me (it is)! I love spending time out in Manchester, like going on runs and doing activities such as gymnastics with my housemates. When I’m not running, I enjoy playing piano and the occasional videogame. Hi there, my name is Grace I am a volunteer at the Royal Voluntary Service and a student at Manchester Metropolitan University. I decided to work with Time because I would love to make a positive impact in the lives of autistic young people and their families by helping them navigate the complexities of daily life while doing what I love.
