I joined TIME in July 2016 as the Service Manager. People ask me “What do I enjoy about my job?” and although cliché,  I always say “Everything!” Every day is different, I get to meet/talk to/support lots of awesome staff and lots of fabulous families while trying to give the best service possible. My role changed to Improvement Projects Manager in February 2024 and I am looking forward to the challenges it may bring, knowing the outcome will be worth it. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking in the Peak & Lake District, and am also lucky enough to go to Switzerland, where the higher mountains challenge me!

Hi, I’ve been working for TSS for over 10 years now!! I started as a support worker while also working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school. Over the last couple of years, I have moved to working in the office full-time. When I am not working I love hiking, reading and playing board games.

I joined TSS in April 2018, originally as a support worker in my final year of university. Since then I have worked in various roles within the office from Supervisor, to Assistant Manager and now Service Manager. I love working for TSS and getting to support our brilliant families and staff team. In my spare time, you’ll find me with my ‘shadow’ Blossom the Cocker Spaniel, I love exploring the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Hi, I’m Sophie T and I’m the Service Supervisor. I absolutely love working at Time, having started as a support worker whilst I was at university. Building relationships with the people I was supporting, as well as their families, was the best part of the job, and as Service Supervisor I can continue supporting families from behind the scenes, as well as our amazing staff! In my spare time, I love going on hikes, cooking good food and being creative!

I started with TIME in June 2018 and have also worked at a special needs school since 2010. I love both my jobs and feel very passionate about the roles. It was and is the best experience of my life getting the chance to find out what helps each child that I get the chance to work with, they all have their very own uniqueness. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising with family and friends. I also have an adorable grandson who I love spending time with. My hobbies are swimming and walking, I love being outdoors in the sunshine.

Hi, my name is Lucy. I wanted to be a support worker at Time as I have previously volunteered with autistic children and loved the interactions we had and the time I spent with them. I loved the idea that my work at Time would have a positive impact on their family/carers too. I am currently studying Drama and Film. In my free time, I play netball for my university team and love to craft and bake.

I am a second year psychology undergraduate student at the University of Manchester.

In my free time, I enjoy playing badminton and baking brownies. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is learning from others and gaining new perspectives on the world. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to give back to the community.

Working with children has always been a joy for me, whether through my role as a support worker, my education, or my volunteer work. Each of these experiences holds great importance in my life, as they allow me to grow and learn something new every day.

I started working with Time in 2012 and loved support work straight away. Since that time I was part of Time’s office team for many years, and I’ve left a few times to go travelling and to do a degree but always find a way to come back as I always end up missing it! I’m currently also working as a Learning Disability Nurse 3 days a week. In my free time I love to be active, playing football, hiking and climbing and generally finding ways to be outside (preferably in the hills or mountains).

I’m Martha, and I read Public Health at Manchester Metropolitan University, seeing the numerous inequalities in health and the stress it causes the disadvantaged; working with Time will help bridge that gap one service user at a time by fostering independence, which is why Time is a choice organisation. I love to read when free and learn things I do not know much about, like arts and politics.

I started working for TIME in February 2020. I graduated in BSc (Hons) Psychology in July 2018, and MSc Forensic Psychology in December 2019. In my spare time, I go to the gym, and enjoy window-shopping, where I often end up buying weird and bizarre flavoured chocolates! I enjoy reading topics on metaphysics, cosmology, astrophysics, geopolitics, and theology. When I am not reading, I enjoy watching a good strategic or non-chronological/non-linear film.

Hi, I’m Megan! I’m currently enrolled to study MSc Applied Psychology (Therapies) at the University of Salford and completed my BSc in Psychology and Counselling there too. In the future I am hoping to go on and complete a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology so I’m able to best support individuals with their mental health and well-being. In my free time I love to read and bake, as well as spend time with my friends and family. I look forward to meeting service users throughout our sessions together.

I am interested in working in time specialist support because I enjoy working with people and want to make a real difference in their lives.
