I joined TIME in July 2016 as the Service Manager. People ask me “What do I enjoy about my job?” and although cliché,  I always say “Everything!” Every day is different, I get to meet/talk to/support lots of awesome staff and lots of fabulous families while trying to give the best service possible. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking in the Peak & Lake District, and am also lucky enough to go to Switzerland, where the higher mountains challenge me!

Hi, I’ve been working for TSS for over 10 years now!! I started as a support worker while also working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school. Over the last couple of years, I have moved to working in the office full-time. When I am not working I love hiking, reading and playing board games.

Hi I’m Tori – Founder and Director of Time Specialist Support.

My background is in Speech and Language Therapy and I first started learning about Autism when I was studying at university. I soon became captivated by the autistic children I was meeting and have been every since! Outside of work I enjoy singing, creative writing and I’m currently learning to play the piano. I live with my son and two dogs and we enjoy getting away for weekends when we can and travelling abroad.

Hi, my name is Sam. I am a student at the University of Manchester, where I study speech and language therapy. I enjoy my course and I am passionate about helping people communicate with their friends, family, and anyone they may come across. In my spare time, I love playing the drums, going to the gym and spending time with my friends- playing games and going to new places with them. I decided to work here at Time as I am also passionate about helping others to enjoy their day-to-day life, and hopefully I can make a positive impact in their life.

Hi, my name is Shifa and I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Manchester. I wanted to work with Time as I am passionate about making a difference in service users’ lives, especially in ways that are fun and empowering. I have prior experience working in support care, and I am excited for the opportunity to develop my understanding about autism and how I can help create the most supportive and inclusive environment possible. Alongside my studies, I am on the committee for my university’s Yoga Society, which has been an amazing way to stay active and build a community. I also love reading, hiking and cooking with friends.

My name is Shine Wai Lu, but mostly known as Shine. I’m fond of being athletic and doing sports, especially football. So, I can say that I’m a team player. Another fun fact about me is that I’m more of an ambivert. However, despite my personality, I love helping people around, enjoy making their day, and want to make more friends in this new environment. I found this job at my university’s job fair and it stood out among others. Although I love helping people around, I have never experienced in this kind of supporting roles. I want to know more about supporting people professionally, I want to know more about autism people, and since also doing a part-time is a must for me, I want to do it meaningfully by supporting someone needs and being their companion. I’ll be looking forward to supporting and making people day.
